Hey Midnight!  Yeah I remember you!  Great to see you again.  I actually play WoW now, and ironically, my main is a hunter named Midnight on Frostwolf.  I also play many others, but my 2nd character (which I work in currently) is Sablestar, a rogue.

It's a pleasure seeing you again, glad you're here.  :)

Yeah Diablo has always been kind of the root that established VK lore.  While VK was founded in Ultima Online, its foundation was born in the original Diablo.  That's where the character of Lír was established (as the 'Hero' who slayed Diablo and ultimately became 'The Wanderer'; and the orginal mythos of the world of Covenant (Knightshade's and Lír's homeworld - a world similar to Diablo's world of Sanctuary).

Anyways, the game is definitely not a mmog and the guild wouldn't be active in D3 like it would in an mmog, but it sure would be great to adventure with everyone again in the world which established the basis for all we've become.

The Valor Knights were conceived in the fires of the original Diablo.  You can bet we're going to be there for the third installment!  Grab your gear and sharpen those blades folks! 

I'm not sure how many of you use various web 2.0 services online like friendfeed or twitter or such things, but I'm extending an invite to all of you to drop by any of my pages and 'hook in' if you want.

I post regularly on a lot of them - mostly about design stuff related to my job, but I would love to get other conversations going.

Ok, so I did a little digging and found a few old Britannia screenshots.  They're not much, but they are something.  I know I have plenty of others from Cats stashed away somewhere.  I will do my best to find them when I can.  Until then, enjoy these.  :)

I believe KR comes with the original as well - I'm pretty sure that's all you need.

It's wonderful to see all of you again.  It saddens me deeply to hear about Oog.  It's great to hear his children are keeping his legacy going (both online and off). 

Aesir, I'll see if I can dig up some old screenshots/content from the site.  I can't make any promises, but I'm sure I have at least a few things lying around in my archives.  Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Yeah I beta tested LOTR online as well - I even went so far as to buy the lifetime subscription - but I don't play it as frequently as the other games I listed (which is a shame since it's essentially free to play for me now).  I also play EQ2 once in a rare while - no active account at the moment, though.

...Neopets huh?  :P  I've heard of it but I don't know much about it.

What (if any) multiplayer games are you guys into these days? They don't necessarily have to be mmo's.

Hello everyone! By now everyone should be slowly trickling back in and registering or viewing the new forum. I've begun sending out invites to old members to stop in and say hello and converse with one another. I'd just like to say to everyone how glad I am to see every one of you, and look forward to hearing how everyone is doing.

So please, make sure you post a hello and update us on what's new, what games (if any) you are playing, how your life has been, and anything else you want to say. I would really like to make these forums a place for everyone to keep in touch and, if any of you so desire, a place to reconnect and start new friendships and experiences (be they in or out of a game).
